 Bond Fund Timer
Bond Fund Market Timing for Active Fund Timers

The Bond Timer uses Fib support and resistance analysis and Elliott Wave pattern analysis to determine current and future market trends. This analysis must be confirmed by our proprietary market timing bond trend indicators. At this point the Bond Timer goes either long (bullish position) or short (bearish position). The Fibtimer bond toiming strategy is a non discretionary timing system which has been profitable over many years and a wide range of market conditions.

See the Bond Timer performance record.

The proprietary market timing trend indicators make buy and sell decisions based on price action of the Rydex Gov't Bond Fund - RYGBX (bullish positions) and the Rydex Juno Bond Fund RYJUX (bearish positions) although subscribers may use bull and bear bond funds that are available through other mutual fund companies.

Emailed alerts are sent to all subscribers for every trade, and the Bond Timer report is also updated, by 9PM, EST the evening "before" any change is executed. Trades are executed the following day after the alert has been sent.

Trend indicators used in the Bond Timer create specific buy and sell signals. There is no emotion involved in the decision making. The system has been live since 2002 and backtested through the end of 1999 so that its performance in both bull and bear markets could be measured.

The below results compare an untimed buy & hold strategy of the Rydex Gov't Bond Fund - RYGBX, to a timed strategy. The timed strategy is 100% invested in the Rydex Gov't Bond Fund - RYGBX when our timing indicators turn bullish, and 100% invested in the Rydex Juno Bond Fund - RYJUX (which trades inversely to the daily price movement of bonds), when our timing indicators are bearish.
