Carnival Corp. Shares Are Sinking Says Market Timer Frank Kollar.
May 17, 2006 (FinancialWire) (By Frank Kollar)
Shares of Carnival Corp (NYSE: CCL), the cruise-ship operator, have declined 30% since their January 2006 highs. Last week, after the beleaguered company cut its second-quarter and full-year outlook, we said that it was not the end of lower share prices.
Fibtimer.com (http://www.fibtimer.com) also said that Carnival share prices could drop as low as $39.68 in coming weeks. Carnival is now just above that critical support level, closing Tuesday at $40.27. Should Carnival shares close decisively below $39.68 in coming days, we would then expect an escalating decline that could reach $35.47 before the next support level is reached.
The Fibtimer.com timing service issued a sell signal for Carnival back on January 30, 2006. Carnival remains a SELL in our Stock Timing Strategy.
